Orders arrive on the Owner Portal app for iOS and Android at no extra cost. You can run your ordering from a phone or tablet you already own.
Receipt printer — $200 plus tax, one-time
Optional hardware for kitchens that would rather have tickets printing on the line than have staff read orders off a phone. Plenty of busy kitchens do want one — it is a one-time hardware purchase, not a setup or service fee.
There is no launch fee and no onboarding fee. The $200 buys a printer and nothing else.

Pricing questions
- Does Order Express take a commission?
- No. There is no commission, no platform fee and no monthly fee. You keep 100% of your sales.
- What is the $1 service fee?
- A flat service fee of $1 per order, paid by the customer and shown at checkout. It is not deducted from your sales.
- Do I pay the $1 on cash orders?
- No. On a cash or pay-in-person order the customer gives you the $1 directly, and we invoice you once a month for the fees you collected. It is a pass-through, so it nets to zero for you. Cancelled orders are never billed.
- What does card processing cost?
- Stripe's standard published rate, billed by Stripe and deducted from your payouts. Order Express adds no markup.
- Is there a setup or launch fee?
- No. It costs $0 to start — there is no setup fee and no onboarding fee.
- Do I need to buy hardware to start?
- No. Orders arrive on the Owner Portal app for iOS and Android at no extra cost, so you can start with no hardware at all. A receipt printer is available as a one-time purchase for $200 plus any sales tax that applies, if you want tickets printing in the kitchen.
- Is there a contract?
- No. There is no contract and no monthly fee, and you can leave at any time.
- Who owns my website and domain?
- You do. The domain is yours to keep — change it or take it elsewhere at any time, with no lock-in.
